Marine pumps are portable monoblock centrifugal submersible single—stage drainage pumps for seawater. The pumps are designed for pumping seawater and fresh water from flooded compartments of ships, coastal structures, during the struggle for survivability, during rescue and ship-lifting operations. The temperature of the pumped medium is up to + 35 °C. Marine centrifugal pumps can be used to supply water to fire barrels when extinguishing fires. The operation of marine electric pumps is possible in a semi-submerged state in the vertical position of the shaft axis, with the receiving part of the pump at the bottom. Pumps can be equipped with quick–release connections (BRS - coupling heads).
